General George Armstrong Custer and the 7th Cavalry battling the Indian Braves at the Little Bighorn Battlefield still stirs strong feelings among many people, myself amongst them. This website is intended to examine General Custer's career and deeds, Indian leaders, and Indian Wars battlefields from that turbulent era.
The Indian victory at The Battle of The Rosebud took place on June 17 , 1876. It was a prelude to the devastating US Army defeat about a week later at the Greasy Grass (Little Big Horn).
